Our Projects:

Over the years we have done literally hundreds of projects. Some of the more recent projects are listed below.

Project: Environmental Screening Tool

Client: Florida Department of Transportation

DTS developed a more efficient process for conducting environmental reviews of transportation projects by creating the Environmental Screening Tool (EST). The EST is an interactive database and mapping application available on the Internet. Planners use the tool to digitize projects directly on-line or upload existing GIS files. GIS analysis is then performed automatically to locate environmental resources in the project vicinity.

Project: Park City Green Website

Client: Park City Municipal Corporation

DTS was retained by the City of Park City, Utah and the Park City Foundation to design and build a website that would encourage the community to conserve energy and reduce its environmental impacts. The result was a website powered by a Kentico Content Management System which allowed non-technical City staff to maintain the site. The most innovative feature of the site was a Carbon Calculator that allows users to measure their specific carbon footprint.

Project: Utah Archaeological System

Client: State of Utah

After review of the existing application for the State of Utah Data Management System,DTS determined that a full re-write was the most cost effective method of both fixing existing issues and extending the functionality of the application. User interfaces were designed, and coding was started. The new application is built on the new ASP.NET MVC framework, which simplifies the use of Test-Driven Development on the Microsoft platform
