A Warm Welcome to Michelle M. Martel, CSM

Orlando, Florida – Data Transfer Solutions, LLC (DTS) is pleased to welcome Ms. Michelle Martel to the growing team. Ms. Martel’s background includes database management and advanced analytics with relational data.

DTS recognizes that VUEWorks is relied upon as a system of record and integration platform for performance-based asset management. Having support for implementations and platform enhancements, advanced database skills are required.

From day one, Ms. Martel’s role includes extending report design and database manipulation for fast and accurate VUEWorks performance. In addition to creating many new standard reports, she is also working to extend the software’s dashboarding.

Michelle’s efforts are designed to help customers better engage with their data. As a Certified Scrum Master, Michelle has immediately fit in with the DTS / VUEWorks approach to software development – agile.

In the agile process, teams work in sprints (typically 2 weeks each) to develop new software features and improve existing ones. Daily stand-up meetings are also held where team members provide updates on what they have accomplished, what they plan to accomplish that day and any impediments they have encountered.

Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys photography, hiking, boating, swimming, reading, and cooking.

San Francisco, Calif. – October 4, 2016. DTS and SmarterBetterCities are pleased to announce a partnership that brings 3D tools and sharing to asset management.

The world is not flat. Why run an asset management system that only allows you to track work management, perform condition assessments and generate projects for a capital improvement plan in the second dimension? This partnership will make the interaction with VUEWorks both richer and more intuitive.

Using VUEWorks and CloudCities together brings many benefits to organizations. Seeing assets in 3D provides operational context that speeds up the understanding of important issues. Tying together the planning and management of assets means lower costs and better results. More effective actions planned in 3D make fixing and managing assets easier.

Many types of organizations will benefit from the ability of VUEWorks and CloudCities to combine existing asset data and BIM, CAD and GIS data with reality data (e.g. 3D photo meshes from drones.) Transportation agencies can use it to provide insights using realistic and thematic 3D visualizations of infrastructure and blend reality data with asset data to compare existing and planned scenarios. Public works officials can combine and convert existing data from AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, ArcGIS and Microstation into 3D for a real life integrated view of campus infrastructure.

Project Manager – Implementations

Initiate Projects – For assigned projects, complete project initiation documents, which include detailed work scope/outline, budget, and schedule for completion. Manage Project Implementation – With assigned project team, ensure that all steps and procedures are taken according to SOPs and that all work is completed as planned and scheduled. Mr. Dolson is a graduate of Iowa State University. His experience over the years includes successful implementations of complex integrated asset management and work management systems. Mr. Dolson also brings best practices in change management and customer service and a record of projects being completed on time and under budget.

Outside of work, Tim and his wife have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, vacationing and active sports with their family. Tim is eager to “win” the RAGBRAI (http://ragbrai.com/) bicycle “race” across Iowa each year. And this November, depending on weather, his plans include rock climbing and/or dogsledding in Colorado. When not traveling with his family, Tim enjoys square-foot gardening, carpentry and playing the guitar.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) recently selected DTS as one of the firms in a competitively bid procurement that now allows NCTCOG members to obtain, through the SHARE program, pavement analysis and related services in a more economical manner than having to go to RFP individually.

We have been collecting pavement and right-of-way data since our inception, and we are available to assist you with your pavement data collection, analysis and management needs now or throughout the contract.

Orlando, Florida – Data Transfer Solutions, LLC (DTS) is pleased to welcome aboard Mr. Joshua Morales. Mr. Morales will be serving as a Customer Specialist for VUEWorks. Josh is excited for the opportunity to be assisting customers in being successful.

Mr. Morales was born in the Windy City of Chicago and grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is great with complex software applications and customer service from time spent as a Senior Game Advisor in the gaming industry. Mr. Morales now lives in Orlando, Florida where he has hit the ground running, assisting VUEWorks system users to be successful.
