Here we grow again! DTS welcomes its newest team member: Craig Hanson, GIS Analyst

March 29, 2017

Orlando, Florida – Data Transfer Solutions, LLC (DTS) is pleased to welcome Mr. Craig Hanson to the team.

Craig Hanson majored in Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then went on to receive his Masters degree in GIS at the University of Minnesota. Craig brings with him nearly 10 years of GIS experience in the Twin Cities area and across the Midwest.

While he just joined the team in January as a GIS Analyst, he has already made some good first impressions. “Craig is an ambitious and engaging new member of the team”, says Brian Sovik, VP of GIS – Transportation Solutions for DTS. “Right out of the gate, Craig has been helping DTS’s state and metropolitan planning organization clients with technical support, GIS feature updates, and training for their Interactive Transportation Improvement Program software.”

In his free time, Craig enjoys playing golf, and is pictured (right) while playing a round in the Badlands of North Dakota. He plans to take full advantage of the Florida weather by golfing and biking the short distance to work. He looks forward to the possibility of learning to surf at Cocoa Beach and exploring all that the Sunshine State has to offer.

Craig is a Wisconsin Badger at heart and has enjoyed following this year’s March Madness. Although he is a Midwesterner, he is very excited to have moved to the Southeast. So far, Craig’s favorite part of working at DTS is the team camaraderie that starts with a stand-up meeting each morning.

Welcome to the team, Craig!
