Jason Amadori, GISP - Chief Executive Officer

Background

Jason Amadori originally hails from Rochester, NY and began his career as a Biologist for the Reedy Creek Improvement District in Orlando, FL. His work with Asset Management, Water Quality Sampling and NPDES permitting support led him to employ the use of GIS and GPS technology for the creation of maps and databases. Jason moved into the private sector in 2001 by joining the value-added services division of Space Imaging. Jason managed the Florida office until 2004 when he co-founded DTS. During this phase of his career, Jason managed multiple Asset Management projects for Counties and Cities throughout the US. This experience has earned him spots on Asset Management committees, client advisory boards as well as many speaking appearances at National conferences. He has authored a URISA-certified course on Asset Management and conducts classes at many different conferences and seminars throughout the US. Jason’s experience from teaching these classes and seminars gives him the ability to teach and apply Best Management Practices to projects and clients throughout this industry.

Philosophy

I believe that there are many solutions to the same problem. It takes teamwork and dedication to put the right solution in place and agree on a strategy to make it happen. Too many projects fail because of egos and agendas. Having an open perspective breeds innovative solutions. One of the reasons that I love consulting is that every single client and project approach is different. We do not work in a “cookie cutter” industry and problem solving is fun! Each client has different approach to doing business. It is a pleasure working with people who have different views of the same situation. Working as a team to develop these solutions makes consulting a rewarding endeavor and an interesting way to meet new people and learn new processes.

Our solutions are focused on the accuracy and usability of the data we deliver.. Our sensor technology is unmatched in the industry. This technology used in conjunction with our workflows and processing techniques, streamline the data delivery process. Our team understands that a successful project requires simple delivery mechanisms and intuitive user interfaces.

It is our job to ensure our clients receive accurate and reliable data. Huge datasets and proprietary software viewers are a way of the past. Our goal is to distribute data to as many users as possible and promote the sharing and usefulness of the data we collect. We do this by building web-based viewers and GIS-centric deliverables that provide our clients with accurate answers to their detailed questions.
