Daniel Behnke, GISP - Sr. GIS Analyst

Background

Mr. Behnke is a Senior GIS Analyst for DTS. He has 5 years of experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) utilizing ESRI’s ArcGIS software and GPS, including both DeLorme and Trimble. Daniel’s knowledge of aerial imagery includes Pictometry’s Electronic Field Study and ERDAS’ IMAGINE software systems.

Mr. Behnke holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the Univeristy of Central Florida and a Bachelor's deegree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin. He also holds a GIS Certificate from the University of West Florida and is a certified GIS professional.

The way it’s always been done may no longer be the most efficient, accurate, or cost-effective way of doing business. As technology continues to evolve, we need to continuously think outside the box and find ways to incorporate new technologies into existing workflows, processes, and methodologies. Daniel's goal is to challenge the way things have always been done and find a way to do them better.
