Philosophy
I always understood how two or more individuals can accomplish more than the addition of individual efforts. Two oxen can pull more weight than adding their independent capabilities together. A group can go farther, higher, and faster when they work together. “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” - Aristotle
Finding a group and activity you enjoy gives a level of satisfaction above the paycheck. Working with individuals you want around on your time creates a good work environment. It also helps to keep a basket of candy on your desk.
