Trey Fragala, AICP, PMP - Chief Operating Officer
Background
Born in Florida (yes there are actually people born there), Trey has been living and working in central Florida for most of his decade long career. An urban planner by birth – his father was a charter member of AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) who started a family owned planning/land development consulting practice. After cutting his teeth in land use and transportation planning, Trey moved into program and operational management.
At DTS, Trey is responsible for strategic planning, production oversight and personnel development, as well as contracting and invoicing. He received certification in Project Management from the University of Florida and is a certified project management professional and also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Self described as enjoying finding better ways of doing things, searching for efficiencies and constantly improving. When not searching for answers, Trey is usually searching for a golf ball in the woods or a water hazard somewhere.
Mr. Fragala holds a Bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University, Lexington, VA.
Philosophy
Focus on the people and the processes will take care of themselves.
Through my project and personnel management experience over the past ten years, I have found the too much focus on the way things are supposed to get done and not enough on who's doing them, makes for poor projects and dull work places. At DTS we look for projects that are challenging and will provide opportunities both creatively and professionally for of professional teams. Our work products are so much more functional for our clients and interesting for our staff because we focus on people not practice.
