After 8 years in Orlando theme park entertainment, a degree in Broadcast Journalism and teaching preschool, Kathy is not shy in front of a crowd. Her experience in the small-medium business technology industry has taught her to wear multiple hats to get the job done. These two worlds collided when she joined the DTS team.

“We have a lot of ideas we wanted to put into place this year, when it came to marketing DTS and VUEWorks” says Trey Fragala, AICP, PMP, Chief Operating Officer. “We wanted someone who was ready to spearhead projects and think outside the box. Kathy has already rolled up her sleeves and taken ownership of several of these projects.”

DTS isn’t the only place you’ll find Kathy wearing multiple hats. She and her husband are raising four children: one in high school, one in middle school and twins in elementary school.

Juggling transportation, schoolwork and extracurricular activities while managing a household of six certainly has its challenges- and its rewards. While “spare time” is rare, she enjoys cooking and baking, singing, yoga and a good cup of coffee.

The couple frequently entertains large groups of friends and family at their home in Altamonte Springs, Florida. It’s not easy balancing everything, in a world where technology takes the front seat for kids.

So each summer, they take a family road trip to Tennessee to visit with extended family, reconnect with the kids and “unplug”!
